That's neat. I know what you mean about too much to eat.
If we eat there it's hard to get the sundae like I like.
I always get the same thing, Hot fudge sundae with vanilla
ice cream, marshmallow topping, REAL whipped cream and
nuts. I used to try and eat the regular sundae but it's
HUGE! Now I usually get a small which is still a bowl
the size of a soup bowl with a saucer under it to catch
the fudge and marshmallow :) Can't waste that. I've never
tried the champagne sherbet but if it's like the rest
of their stuff it's got to be good. My brother and sister
still live in Zanesville and I've probably been there
more than they have. Heck he lived about 2 blocks away
for years. To get there we always have to take the kids
across the Y Bridge so they can tell their friends about
going to the middle of the bridge and taking a left to
get to Tom's.

Once in a while we buy some nuts or some of the candy (remember when
Sears used to have a display like that inside every retail store), but
most of the time we just eat. Rena and I went there at the end of our
first date. She was playing in the Zanesville Community Band, so we'd
go there after she finished rehearsal and after every concert. Tom's
became a "habit" REAL QUICK. Once, I made the mistake of ordering a
sandwich and fries before trying to eat a Special #3. I almost couldn't
finish the ice cream.

Have you ever had their champagne sherbet? I've always wondered how it
tasted, but can't avoid the temptation of that mountain of ice cream.

Larry
