Did your dial come with a fixture to hold it? A magnetic base works

This may be off subject but it is associated. I recently purchased a
Dial Indicator to assist with the reassembly of the transmission of my
530. Problem is that the darn gauge does not come with any
instructions. I have been searching the web but with few adequate
results. Doess anyone know of a web site that would have operating
instructions for this precision (Chinese made) gauge??
