Did you ever do the 30 combine safety kits? I just learned about them
and my combine has the safety loop all nice and contrasting yellow..
Heard they even went to the combine graveyards and put them on.

Deere themselves went so far as to install free of charge neutral start
safety kits on
almost all mid sized tractors sold since the 1970's. Talk about problems
trying to
locate tractors that were sold sometimes over 30 years ago! A decent job
was done
overall updating this safety issue on tractors and although it must have
cost Deere
untold amounts of money I imagine it was nothing to having a customer
get hurt or killed
and the resultant law suit. We found tractors we had sold scattered all
over the U.S.!
Of course you couldn't travel to update those so they were transferred
to the nearest
servicing dealer and we also got our share of transferred units to
update.
