Dave, The built-in controller on the Ford Super duty is optional. Not sure what type of controller it is (nothing in the lit describes the type) but it sure has to be better than no trailer brakes at all! Phil Isn't Ford supposed to have a built-in controller on the new heavy duty pick-ups? If they did it right it would be GRRREAT! Dave Myers
