I understand they go faster as well!

Well today and yesterday i did some more painting, and also worked ont he
other rearrim, and the battery box. I got a couple runs on the rear
cowling, and am going to sand it back down once cured for a few days, and
reprime and paint. The battery box needed help bad. I ad to weld in a new
lit for 1.5" angle iron on one side, and then add two stiffeners from 3/16
plate to beef up the lower mounting bracket, as well as adding a new
expanded metal floor. That said.. I finally found a good use for 1/16 rods
and the 30 amp setting on my little stick welder. Even then you had to be
creative with that very thin sheetmetal.. felt like i was welding a soup
can...

I'll probably finish up the battery box tomorrow, and then do some more
painting on the rear rim, and then start on the fenders.. looks like they
will need almost as much attention as the battery box. Battery box lid
seems fine...
