You are right Willard and I'm glad you corrected me. I got another laugh
out of it thinking about " KNOCK HIM OUT JOOHHHNNN"
Unfortunately I don't remember his stuff very well but I do enjoy it.
I saw him in person once at a Tobacco Farmers show in Greenville NC. He was
using 2 40' flat bed trailers parked side by side as a stage. I was right
up front and just to my left and very near the center of the stage was a
young guy dressed in western style clothes. He had laid his cowboy hat on
the edge of the stage. Jerry came out and saw the hat. I'm sure he was
worried that it might be hidding a tape recorder or something but he was
very nice about it. It looked down at the cowboy and said "son, do you
mind moving that cowboy hat? I'm gonna have to kick a coon dog right there
in just a minute and I don't want to mess it up"
