[AT] OT: 1934 Ford with 1932 Marmon V16 engine

I think he purchased the engine first and then went looking for something to
put it in. He is having all the work done for him. I don't dare ask what the
tariff is!  I know I couldn't afford it, whatever it is. Over three years
into the project. I just received a note from him. He hopes to show it the
first time at the big car show in Detroit the first of March. I sure would
like to see it.

I'll be going through Chicago on the 6th and 12th of March, for the GOG, but
am traveling with a group, so won't be able to break away to see it. Am
going to get to see Walter Keller's JD collection in Wisconsin, however.
That will be a big treat in itself. I hope my camera is up to the task. All
kinds of really rare tractors to drool over there. Including $175,000 JD's.

Wow!..... And I thought putting a little Ford V-8 in an old tractor was 
neat!  Did he start with the engine in the Ford or did he get the engine 
for it?    John
