Hold it a minute...
who said anything about NEED? I feel I am preserving history here...
just ask me. :) If I don't do it, my tractor collection goes to the
scrappers, and I find that repulsive.
I have one that used to be my Granddad's and on my little acre piece
of dirt, I have 1 Ford (does mowing duties), 4 Case tractors (one for
parts, one is used for hayrides, the industrial has a loader and the
other is Granddad's, in the shop to get running), a TD-14 and a Bobcat.
I would consider all of them high quality for their day; I don't care
who built them. I want to preserve them, period. Might be nice to use
them once in a while too.

PLEASE, if you MUST natter away about union this and that, TAKE IT
OFF-LIST. It's more polarizing than what color of paint belongs on our
old iron, and certainly less related to tractors. (personally, I think
Flambeau Red looks good on everything, but my wife likes JD green. :)
