That of course is what caught my eye. The fact that it's 100% new and untouched. The 
little attached bag of parts was what sent me over the edge although I'm not planning 
on bidding on it.

I agree with your statement that there's not a real shortage of tractors, just a 
perceived shortage. More and more frequently I hear of older collectors who are 
beginning to turn loose of some of their tractors as they realize they're just not 
going to get to them. I've also seen quite a bit of burnout as long time collectors 
take a break from it all for awhile.

As I told a friend of mine years ago when he was worried that all the tractors were 
gone, "There will never be any fewer tractors than there are today, they'll just 
change hands." Remember we can't take them with us! (Some days I count that as a 
blessing!)
