[AJD] AR update - cracked

Well, some bad news today on the AR. We decided to pull the head. The 
reducer in the bottom of the head were hitting so I put a socket on it and 
gave it a little turn. The whole bottom of the head came off where it had 
froze and cracked at some point. But then I was able to get the head off. 
The crack on the right side of the block that I had seen from the beginning 
goes through to both of the center "ribs" above the pistons. I've posted 6 
more pictures on my Fotki site. Looks like I'll be needing a engine after 
all. Anyone know where there is one that will fit a 1950 AR serial #274848?
