That is strange. This weekend I hung wallpaper in the twins room and it was a American (US) kind and it was prepasted and when it was wet it smelled slightly like diesel, not very unlike ny David Brown ;-) Couldn't decide if that was bad or good. Now I dont know if it was because the prepaste paste is different from the ordinary paste or if it is because it's from from your side of the pond or maybe even Hawaiian.
    Anyway i forgot to taste any of it ;-) but I made a good quantity of shimstock.
