Hi Jim,
Makes sense to me. I usually blast rims and coat them with a heavy coat of
Epoxy paint. Then when I mount the tires/tubes I squirt a small handfull of
baby powder into the tire and roll it around. That pretty well stops tube
sticking and leaks from chaffing.
