Well I was raised on grits but had much rather have rice for breakfast
instead of the grits. They are just a little bit better than nothing at
all as far as eats go! Of course, I am weird anyway---country ham has
never been all that great to me either, unless it is used as seasoning
for vegetables.

George, I actually do like the taste of grits and will eat them plain.
A little salt brings out the flavor. If you think about it they are a
lot
like pop corn. (grits are just ground up corn). Salt makes both
better
and your favorite topping whether it be butter or butter scotch just
adds to
the pleasure. grins.
