The year I was there just happened to be an AC featured show. That didn't
disappoint me a bit! I did get a good laugh though.
One guy D-10 that was in good shape, with fresh paint but not restored. He
had proudly hung a sign on the front that said 1949 AC D-10. Very rare
tractor since they didn't start making D-10's until '59.

It was an honest mistake I'm sure but it just stuck in my mind and is about
all I remember about the tractors at the show now. They were nice people.
If I remember right there was no charge to go to the show. I saw the
buttons and tried to buy one as a way to pay them something. They told me
that the buttons were for members of the club. Not to be outdone I asked
them if I could join. They said sure. So I paid them $10 bucks for a years
membership.
I explained that I lived in NC and was just joining to help out but they
sent me news letters just the same for about 5 years.
