My recollection of "White" gas is equivalent to what we now buy as Coleman
Lantern Fuel. But I'm not very confident of my 40's and 50's memory any
more. :-)

stations had White gas. Does anyone know what
this gas was and what was it used for?
Was this a local thing, nort Louisiana, East
