It might be the wet clucth that is bad. I had the bronze "throw out" wear
out on mine so I couldn't disenguage it. At that time, it was down to 2
shims, and I removed one of them. The dealer said $600 per disk to fix it,
for 3 disks. I've limped along with it for a few years, but I'm afraid to
plow or do other heavy pulling now.

I had a dry clutch re-lined and it was a LOT cheaper and appears to be just
as good as a new one. I wonder if the wet disks can be relined?
