[Farmall] Farmall C carb question

While there could be a problem with the jets and stuff, it is more 
likely that you have a vacuum leak between the carburetor and the intake 
valves. You didn't say why you changed carburetors, but you may have had 
the problem before (warped manifold, pinhole in the casting, bad 
gasket[s], etc.). One way to check for a vacuum leak is to get the 
tractor running at idle and move the nozzle of an unlit but open propane 
torch around the intake area. If the engine sucks in unburned propane, 
the engine speed will speed up momentarily.
