[AJD] Flat Spoke rear wheels

The B had 3 versions of the John Deere-built flat spoke rear wheel for
rubber. From 60000 - 102682 the JD1240R wheel was used, with a 12-spline
cast-in hub, 12 - 10 1/2" x 3/8" x 1 1/2" spokes, used hub clamp B1189R, and
normally came with 6.00S x 36 rim for 7.50 or 9.00 x 36" conventional tires.
This wheel had hub breakage problems, so at s/n 102683 (continuing to about
191302) they produced the JD1259R wheel which had the same number and size
spokes, but the 12 spline "heavied up" hub now required a B1961R hub clamp.
It used the same rim and tires as the 1240R. At about 191303 to 200999 the
new JD1270R wheel (with the same rim) was available for both the A and B, as
it had a bolt-in hub. This wheel had 16 spokes, and the spokes were a bit
larger (1 3/4" wide). This wheel used the B2188R bolt-in hub for the 12
spline B's, and a B2187R bolt-in hub with 10 splines was available for the
unstyled B. Both hubs used the B2189R hub clamp. Most, if not all, of
these wheels came with rims for conventional tires - I have heard rumors of
these wheels with rims for wide-base tires, but don't believe I have never
seen one (without looking at my notes - could be wrong).

Drive wheels built by JD after 2/15/41 had part numbers cast in the INSIDE
of the hub - normally not a large casting so the numbers can be hard to
read.
