[AT] Old work boots ramble

John,

I have a pair that is only a couple years old. I made the mistake of
wearing my older ones when I was working to change some tires with CaCl in
them. They were totally ruined. The leather shrunk and became stiff as a
board. I didn't know they had been discontinued.
