Thanks Jim and Dean for your input. I've heard of an "old guy" (must be 
really old if I'm callin him that) around here who sleeves JD blocks. I may 
check out that option. My brother-in-law's whose an experienced mechanic 
indicated he thought the bores were too deeply pitted to rebore 
successfully. I'll see though. I don't know what shape the head is in. At 
any rate I'll have something to keep me out of trouble for awhile.
