A whine is usely gear noise caused by the neshing at high speed. Each tractor 
will have more or less of this noise very seldom is it going to cause any 
damage. I would watch to see if it gets louder as time go by if so then it could 
be something wearing out. Its real hard to find even if you tear the tranny 
down.
