[AT] B Allis (spark plugs)

I have to admit that I don't see a difference in spark plugs regarding
efficiency and durability. I've had quite a variety in the numerous engines
on the farm and none stand out as particularly bad or good. Actually I must
have some pretty good plugs in most of these engines because it has been a
long long time since I have even looked at a spark plug, let alone replaced
one. At a guess I'd say I have either Champions or Autolites in the
Cockshutts.
I did have to buy a set for the IH R-160 truck last year. The ones that it
came with were of undetermined age and I figured a new set of autolites
would not do any harm. That IH engine runs smoother now with the new spark
plugs so I figure it was a good investment.
I've always had good luck with AC delco plugs in cars and trucks. I've had
NGK and Bosch plugs in snowmobile and motorcycle engines , can't recall
anything exceptional about them. When I need new spark plugs I buy whats
available locally. Usually autolite or champion.
