SV: [AT] Zetor tractors

Many people here have Zetor's and there are people who usually buy Zetor's as
some have Volvos or JD's as their favourite brand. My neighbour have a 70's
model and it seems like a good tractor though it need some work. It pulled
the Fordson major I had out of the woods when it was stuck(both in the engine
and the terrain). I never heard anything particullary bad with Zetors.

Larry, hope you'll have a nive journey, and as you understand I won't be able
to be in the Malmö region on monday but I hope you'll have some more time to
spend in Sweden some other time. BTW the county of Skåne where the bridge is
is one of the large farming areas in Sweden.

I see lots of Zetor's in Poland.  I don't have any personal experience
with them, but it is a company that has been around for many years.  The
tractors they have in Europe are all "street legal" -- turn signals,
hydraulic brakes, brake lights, closed cabs, front wheel fenders, mud
flaps, etc.  Most have jump seats for a passenger or two.  I'm headed
there again this weekend.  I'll keep my eyes peeled for any and all
tractors worth photographing.  Other brands that are popular: Belarus,
Ursas, and John Deere with a Fendt thrown in every once in a while!

Mattias, my wife is begging me to go to Sweden on this trip.  If we make
it, it will be this coming Monday, and we'll only be in the region of
the bridge that comes across from Denmark.

No experience with them, but new ones look like a nice tractor for the
money... Way better than the old Russian Belarus. There is a Zetor
enthusiast's bulletin board at www.zetorworld.com .
