34 acres? I have hay fields smaller than that and I wouldn't think of taking
them on with a riding lawn tractor , mower . An old tractor with a 6 foot
rotary would even be small for that acreage I would think. Unless its a dry
summer with grasshoppers of course.
One horsepower per acre sounds about right in this case.
