[AT] OT Ford

Hi I have just bought back my old 78 Ford with a 300-6 eng. runs and starts good BUT at idle it runs rough also when you try to hold speed, say 45 mph, it has new plugs, wires, cap and roto, could it be carb adjustment and/or burnt valve? the carb has been rebuilt..all work done within the last 2-3 weeks, but will not come out of this sputter...it will smooth out if you punch it hard it smooth from idle to running speed..
