OK, you made my go look for my seeder book....

Mine is a Wikomi, mgf in Litchfield, Il. Model 1 1/2 BU (but has a 1 BU
extension).

The rate chart says to travel at 4 miles per hour. 1/4" for red clover puts
8 lbs per acre and spreads 30 ft. The measurement on this are on a scale,
not directly on the openings, so the actual opening is a little smaller.
I'd bet that most seeders would spread seeds about the same distance, it's
probably more a function of the seed than the seeder.

It says it will spread wheat 50'. I used it this fall to seed wheat and
oats for deer food plots. It was quicker than drilling. Wheat goes at 1",
oats at 2". My old seeder doesn't want to open all the way to 2", but oats
sure pour out at wide open! I have about 80 bu of oats I harvested, so I
want to sew it thick.

This seeder has a bar that extends into the hopper to stir the seed. That
keeps it flowing at a steady rate.

The illistration is some kind of old farmall. The light switch / amp guage
is visable, and it's like my H. The drawbar goes nearly to the tires, so I
guess it's an A or B. The tractor has fenders too.
