Thanks, Charlie, for that info and explanation of the transmission.  I kinda had a thought it might be a sort of hybrid transmission, but wasn't sure.

The question is, then - what's a good price?  This one looks clean, runs well, not beat up, comes with a 42" deck.  Any idea?
