The 44-6 I had was a 1949 narrow frount with the continental, earlier ones
had the chrslers engine . It was a stong hard working tractor, most of the
engine parts I needed for it I got a big A auto, seems Jeep used the same
engine and jeep stuff is still avalible at big A etc. I didn't really like
the narrow frount as compared to the wides I have had but the tractor was a
joy to operate any ways, a little touchy on the high way in high gear at
about 17 mph with the nf.
