[Farmall] Farmall H question

If the H is like most of what I have seen on letter series tractors: The
radiator was black when it came in from the supplier. The tractor was
assembled, including the sheet metal before any paint was applied. The
front of the radiator will be poorly covered with red as it had to go
through the grill to get there. The back side will be mostly red with a
vague black X where it was shielded by the fan. Othe parts of the radiator
that are well hidden by the sheet metal (example, top and front of the upper
tank) will still be black.

Subject: [Farmall] Farmall H question

I am in the process of painting my 1950 Farmall H. What is the correct
color of the radiator? I am thinking that it should be gloss black, and the
brackets and tin that hold it in place should be old IH red.

Enjoy reading all of your comments. Thanks.
