This question is mainly for Jim Becker...however..anyone that knows the answer can jump right in there. I had my T-340 had Red Power this year...parked right behind Weber's vendor booth..next to the nefarious T-20. It has a battery mounted on the fender with baling wire...this is due to the charging system not working. I got around to fixing on that today..and noticed the wires (4) had been cut that go to the regulator. I got the generator to working and now am in the process of hooking up the regulator. This is the first time I have ever seen a 4 wire regulator..it has the usual 3 ..F...Gen...Batt..plus one terminal the has an L on it. OK, so I work on diesel trucks and am at a complete loss on this. I know the F terminal goes to the field post on the generator..and the Gen terminal goes to the armature post on the generator..and the Batt goes to the ign switch or directly to the battery...but I am at a total loss on the other one. My generator only has 2 (two) brushes in it. I
looked at the article Jim wrote for the magazine and was still lost as a duck without water. Please help me guys..I would like to play with my new tinkertoy...LOL.

Been pretty quiet hasn't it? I think the last message I got was in the
