Frank,
Do you know where the  adobe house on California str. is Near the ansel 
Hoffman park entrance, my  grandfather W.W. Kennedy bult it in the 1930 for about 
$1000.  
It quite  the place if you haven't seen it drive by and tell you know the 
family who built  the house.

I was quite young and only remember a very little about the  house. I went by 
a few years ago and the lady let me ring the bell in the tower  it used to be 
the door bell but has been closed in since grampa owned  it.
