> Go for it Cecil. You need a buddy to ride with you when Lucille can't go

along. A saw a friend of mine just before Thanksgiving and she was showing

me the 2 new pups she and her husband just got.
> A German Shepard and a Jack Russel. Both born the same day and about 45

days old when I saw them. You should have seen them. That Jack Russel KNEW

he was the biggest dog in the car even if the German Shepard was sitting on

top of him. LOL

Well, I have a new buddy. He doesn't know it yet as he is only
5 weeks old. A little shorthaired brown and white Jack Russell male with
one black spot. The people who have the litter are "horse people" as we
call them that raise, show and board quarter horses. I get the puppy the
middle of January after he has all his shots and is wormed. Life is sure
going to change for Lucille's cat.....

`	I went there yesterday late morning and spent some time looking
the litter over and also the pup's parents. I was looking for a Jack
Russell that was not hyper or sneaky. The male is real laid back and
sure of himself and the mother is watchful but trusting. I picked up the
pup and laid him on his back in my hand and he looked at me as if to say
he was comfortable and did not try to get away. It is supposed to be a
good sign of gentle dogs. I decided right then and there to take him.
The whole place was clean and did not even have dog smell around from
the litter which surprised me. Another thing I liked was that their dogs
are not tied or penned but have the run of the farm which is what I like
for mine.
