It's coming, Gene. We have over 10 inches on the ground-- I-64 and
I-164 are essentially closed -- semi's in the ditch all over the place
-- the twin bridges into Kentucky are barely passable -- four more
inches coming tonight. Yeehaw!

If you were in Ohio today, you might want to check out a Husky or
Alaskan
Malamute. Predicting from 8 to 16 inches of snow.
I often thind and even dream of my dogs. Sometimes so real that I
wake up
looking for them. It is a sad time when you lose them.
I often think of getting another dog, but have gotten used to the
independence of not having one. Also am afraid that I could never get
another
one that I am so attached to. It is a commitment that is as strong as to
any
family member.

: Nice story, Gene. I've got dogs on my mind this morning I guess.
: I was thinking about giving myself a new dog for Christmas. It has
been
: about 3 1/2 years now since I had to have my German Shorthair Pointer
put
: away and I still find myself saving a piece of hamburger or looking
for
: her when I pull in the yard. I thought maybe I would check out a
litter of
: Jack Russell pups today and see what happens.
