[AT] OT- Late model chevy truck question

I had the check engine light come on my 97 Blazer this summer but everything
was working fine with no sign of a problem. When I found out how much it
would cost to have it put on the analyzer I decided to just ignore it.
After a few trips it went out and has not been a problem since. I've heard
that there is a small air filter/vent? just below the fuel filler door that
occasionally gets dusty and needs cleaning and this is what causes the light
to come on. Its on my list of things to check.
