[AJD] 60 LP followed me home

Hey Howard
Do you have acess to a small press? there is a repair kit out from Deere,
now before everybody goes off on me
I know some of you folks have had problems with rebuilding the pump, But
again, and this is just me, I have done a few and they are still leak free?
Just go slowly and do not get carried away with the press.
The Power steering is another item altogether, they can be touchy! Deere has
a book Power Steering for 2-cyl Tractor SM-2050 that was a big help when I
had problems with a 720 I had.
Also and again this just worked for me BUT I had great luck with JD Power
Steering oil! My best friend has a tractor repair shop and he told me Oil is
Oil as long as it is the correct weight and for the right use! However I
found when replacing the oil that had been put into the tractor with JD oil
, and it took a couple times to get it all changed, It was like night and
day! It steered 100% better!
YMMV
Dee
