[Farmall] a few question

I don't think the B is any more prone to moisture than any of the
several hundred thousand IH tractors that used virtually the same
distributor/magneto cap that ran horizontally. I would suspect a cracked
or dirty cap, dirty or cracked high tension wires, dirty coil, etc. All
the usual stuff that is typical of any ignition or magneto engine. If it
is a magneto, then you may have your own set of problems (which are not
insurmountable, but require different solutions than an electric ignition).

I would say that for replacing the canvas on the Heat Houser, you could
try someone who makes boat covers and/or sails. But Heat Houser is still
very much in business (last I knew), and it may be cheaper in the long
run just to replace the missing/rotten pieces with new. If you can get
your hands on a used industrial sewing machine, you can do it yourself.
