Ricky: Get a brass sleeve the correct size for the pin and hole in the 
lever. You will need to drill  the lever out a little probably, to match 
the oversize brass sleeve. Probably need to replace the pin and you will 
be "a whistling Dixie" down the road.
The above will take out a little of the long travel the hand clutch goes 
through.
I will forever love the sound of the "beast" in those old two cylinders! 
Who knows you might some day also, at least just a little. But just 
help, you will never have to admit it.
