Spencer the rings are perfectly round and your bore it not as it has some 
wear in it this will cause some oild burn as the it will take longet for the new 
rings to seat into the old bore that is not perfectly round. Even a few 
thousands of an inch will let some oil pass by. Just take it easy and as i said 
before drive it down hill under back pressure and they should seat.
