If its a 12 volt system there should be two wires going to the Coil one from 
the key switch and the other from the starter solenoid the one from the 
solenoid gives the coil 12 volts while cranking. You can pull the coil wire from the 
distributor and then crank it over to see how hot the fire is. It should jump 
an easy 3/8 to 1/2 in.  Hard to see if you are getting fuel on an LPG engine 
but you can check the regulator to see that its working properly.  We know you 
have compression so the only thing left is fuel and spark. Its just starting 
from scratch and check everything from the battery to the spark plugs and then 
the fuel from the tank to the carb.  A little time consuming work can save 
time guessing later on.
