Generators could work either way but the alternator will have to be negative ground. The wire from the coil to the distributor likewise has to be switched, if it wasn’t already, so the (-) terminal is feeding the distributor rather than the (+) terminal feeding the distributor as it would have been from the factory.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif'>I’ve never dealt with the death wobble issue but know it’s common on the old tractors.
