problems is getting to the collars period. They are back behind
the a/C duct, a hard formed plastic duct made like a T section

The main thing with those
fittings is that the teeth like lo dig in from
the vibration so trying to release them becomes
a chore. There used to be a tool out there

very thin wall steel that would slip over the

You might want to check with GM they used to
have a 3 day access to the truck service

have an air leak under the dash in my C8500 1998
Chevrolet tractor mover. I have the instrument
cluster out and can barely reach to the fittings
in the firewall. Ther eis one line that goes
from the parking valve to over the top of the
steering column to who knows where. My leak is
somewhere beyond the air valve. It really
hisses. I have replaced nearly all the fittings
last spring on this thing. I have an alcohol
tank ordered. Those quick connect fittings are
a pain in the butt... Does anyone have any
experience with these.. Maybe Steve W..??? The
factory service manual is $300+, and I have
tried to download 2 times today and it failed.
I will wait until tonight after midnight to
download...
