<p>Then there is the higher ticket items like the ATV I need to be
mobile. If anything goes wrong it has to go back to the dealer.
All the test equipment is proprietary to the ATV market, and the
brand. I think I am going to get the ones I have cleaned up and
back together and trade them in on a new Polaris and then trade
every 2 to 3 years. Either you pay for it in trade in or in
dealer service... I will keep the one carbureted one I have. It
only has an electric choke. <br>

I agree Steve, I need the blower know, even if a piston was and
cylinder were available, it would take forever to get one. Most
things made today with a few exceptions are throw away. How'd you
like to be a TV repairman these days? :)<br>

cylinder and installing oversize piston, that's not an
option. The plating is the show-stopper. I'm shocked by
Carl's estimate of $35 for piston kit and cylinder... I can
take exactly one guess what the country of origin is, but
still, with all the middlemen and shipping, we're talking
manufacturing costs in the range of just a few dollars. Good
luck, and whatever you decide, I hope it is available.

scored. Try pushing the piston down
and sticking a finger in to see if
you can feel the wall. Maybe use
