<p><font face="Arial">Thanks, Brad, fascinating mechanism. Curious
about its history, I googled the maker name </font><font
face="Arial"><font face="Arial"> "t.r. almond" </font>cast on
the housing. To my great surprise one hit was a youtube video
shot in 2018 at the Willamette Heritage Center in Salem, OR,
only ten miles from me. Formerly the historic Thomas Kay woolen
mill, first built in the late 1800's and operated continuously
until the '60's. Now a historical museum, with all the old
buildings, water turbine, line shafts, and vintage weaving
equipment still in place. Have been there many times and my
wife Judy demonstrates and teaches loom weaving there.<br>

<p><font face="Arial">An identical T.R. Almond coupling was used at
the mill to power the line shaft and flat belts running the
fleece washing/conditioning machines in the scouring room.
