<div dir="ltr"><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:tahoma,sans-serif">I find Gmail's handling of various emails incomprehensible. I had to create a filter to keep many, but not all, of the emails from this group from going to Spam (Is this an indication of google's estimation of the value of our discussions?). Partzpicker's post would have gone there, but Jim's didn't. But I have had no success in getting Gmail to classify the Geico or CBD spam as such. I have created filters that delete messages with these titles before I see them. as spam doesn’t always work. You can report it as spam to gmail and gmail
should block it from being sent to anybody.

so I keep getting these spam emails from <a>Mik@aol.com</a>. I use Gmail
as<br>my provider, and Thunderbird as my email program. I probably get
10-12<br>emails per day from this spammer. I tried to block it from
both<br>Thunderbird and Gmail, with no success. Thunderbird marks it as junk
but<br>i still have to manually delete it. Any input would be
