Every few years I have to get a new desktop at work, because I run Solidworks, and every new release adds bells and whistles that take additional horsepower and support only the most modern OS. So my "new" machine (about 18 months old) had to be Win10. The user interface is pretty similar to Win7. There's a Start button in the lower left corner, and it brings up a list of installed software, just like Windows has been doing since Win95. I recall no frustration and little to no learning curve. OK, so last night I downloaded windows 10, I have not installed it
yet. Is there anything I should know or do before hitting the
install button. I've already downloaded Open Shell, I'm just not

the desktop the free add-on "Windows Classicshell" by

keywords. Get the latest version you can find. I say

trouble even opening a browser window. I said download
to the desktop so you
