<p><font size="+1">I would say the problem is the synthetic oil. It
is too slick for some engines. A buddy bought a fairly new
motorhome with the GM 8.1. Since he wanted it to last he changed
to synthetic oil. First trip out they coated the tow car with
oil coming out the back. Dang the rotten luck, pulled the trans
and replaced the rear main. No other signs of leaks. Next trip
it was the same thing. With some research he found that GM
recommended not using synthetic. Changed back to regular oil and
