<div dir="ltr">I finally got to use the mower today. I was not familiar with these newer PTO couplings where you pull the ring back instead of pressing a pin with your thumb. I wasted an inordinate amount of time and some great swear phrases figuring that out. I should have just searched the internet. What I was mowing with a 42" riding mower I was able to mow with the 72". Quite an improvement.<div><br></div><div>I think I may look into adding quick hitch devices to my most used implements and tractor. As versatile as the three point system is, it still takes a lot of time to change implements. I am aware the proper solution is to own a tractor for every implement but that isn't in the cards right now.</div><div><br></div><div>Warren</div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Wed, Jun 24, 2020 at 9:45 PM John Hall <<a href="mailto:jtchall@nc.rr.com">jtchall@nc.rr.com</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex">

needed, well wanted, a decent finish mower for a while now. My

<div>I've been watching craigslist and found a Woods RD72 for
950.00 obo got listed yesterday afternoon. I called the guy
and he said i was 2nd in line. I gambled and told him I'd
pay his full asking price if #1 fell through. He texted me
last night and said I was up. So I headed up to Kannapolis
(1-1/2 hrs N via I85) this morning and we struck the deal.</div>

<div>If anyone was curious, an rd72 WILL fit in a pickup bed.
Im well pleased with the condition and how it's made, and
the price but when I got home it's raining and I can't play
with it. I'd post photos but they're too large and i can't
seem to resize on my phone. </div>
