<div dir="ltr">Most of the time you can purchase new cells. Make sure you get the same chemistry and size of cells. NICAD, Nickle Metal Hydroxide etc. If you purchase the wrong chemistry you risk a fire. Lithium is especially dangerous. I designed battey packs in my engineering job. The last I used was the current Lithium technology. Done right it is very safe. Done wrong is a disaster waiting to happen. <br clear="none"></div><div dir="ltr"><br clear="none"></div><div dir="ltr">We spent several afternoons with 1600 people in the parking waiting for the fire department to show up until we got it right. None of my designs flamed. enough....just like us! I have a set of Bosch 24v tools and the
batteries are now dead but they don't make replacements.<br clear="none">
Has anyone found a way to use these tools? I'd hate to just trash
them: they are just like old tractors.<br clear="none">
