<span>The Society of Automotive Historians showed the Hudson movie in a building in Ypsilanti that was full of collector cars. It is some sort of group where you rent a space. Some ice machines there but no tractors.</span></div>

<span>I was at an event today where a movie was shown about the Hudson brand of automobiles. One early Hudson developed engine actually got the compression ratio up to 5:1. I had not been aware of the number of automobile technical advances made by Hudson.
Hudson's were still on the road in my youth.</span></div>

<span>At 6.5:1 compression ratio for the TO-30 with Z129 Continental and the TO-35 with Standard 23C at 20:1 compression ratio and slightly larger piston diameter you are right that the 23C engine can't be hand cranked by most people.</span></div>
