played with a few and like what I’ve seen. I’m a Mac guy and
work in IT. So what I like and is acceptable to me will be
different than the average user. I look at it like, “what
could I give to my parents to use….”. Linux wouldn’t be my
first choice….. But if you like to dabble and are somewhat
tech savvy it could be a very good and inexpensive
alternative.</p>

a date not too far in the future to stop issuing security
updates for Win 7. I have a laptop that needs a keyboard
replacement that is being used with an external keyboard
that is on Win 7. It may be upgradeable to 8.</p>

browsers is that they have quit supporting any version of
Windows older than Windows7. Both of my laptops are
